It is hardly ever the small-town baker who goes to church, pays his taxes and plays on the Rotary softball team that inspires people to shove their neighbors toward large pits behind the barrel of a gun. Memorial Day
This came to me via a slideshow in an email from a buddy. The caption was in French. I don't read French but I could tell the date was December 21, 1945.
