Events of the night of June 7 / 8, 1944
Story of Canadian fliers in World War II flying B-24’s and patrolling the waters around England, and later France.
One particular B-24 sank 2 German submarines in a span of 20 minutes during one of its night time patrols.
Those patrols lasted in the range of 10 to 15 hours, as the B-24’s had a very long range.
